What have I seen of a flower?
“THE VEINS” is the collection of works
deliberately observing 'leaf veins'
appearing on petalsand leaves of the flowers
that have past their primes.
As if to have a fleeting glance at a human nature of a person
who keeps innermost feelings to him/herself,
we witness the surprising nature of plants whereas only the beauty
and the prettiness of flowers are obviously mentioned.
It is the overly ferocious 'mark of life' of ornamental cut flowers
which end their lives in vases,
but not in the field where they have once existed.
Does not this simple fact that flowers do live
in the peculiar life-time catch you by surprise?
